Abilities
| Ability | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Jar of Dead | Nearby deaths fill the jar. Throw it to create Deadheads that repeatedly deal spirit damage and prioritize your weapon target. With no nearby enemy, they follow you. |
| Grasping Hands | A line of hands creates a Ghoul and a rift that damages and immobilizes enemies crossing it. Alt-Cast rotates the line. |
| Essence Theft | Weapon hits steal weapon damage and spirit resistance over time, with a per-target maximum. |
| Borrowed Decree | Ghouls head toward the enemy base and explode near heroes or objectives. The active gravestone creates more Ghouls, but enemies can destroy it with two heavy melees. |
Lane and fight plan
Stay near useful wave deaths to build the jar before committing it. Aim your gun at the enemy you want Deadheads to pressure. Place Grasping Hands across an approach rather than automatically pointing it down the lane; use Alt-Cast when the angle is wrong. Deploy the gravestone where enemies must expose themselves to reach it, and keep firing while your summons create space.
Failures to avoid
Do not assume your summons will hold the lane for you. Two heavy melees can remove the gravestone, and an empty area makes Deadheads follow you instead of finding a distant enemy. Essence Theft has a separate limit for each enemy.
